I am writing this letter in support of Bob Outhouse for Westchester County Legislator in District 9. I am a long-time resident of Ossining and have seen politicians come and go. From all I have seen, heard and read about Bob, he has my full support. He is not your typical politician. He is a 38-year volunteer firefighter and an EMS provider and a decorated Westchester County Police Detective. Bob has shown his dedication to the community in many ways. Bob’s interest in local issues that effect our community are of paramount importance. He has always been there for us when we needed him, now it’s time for us to be there for him when he needs us to support him in his endeavor to become a Westchester County Legislator. I have no doubt that Bob will continue to serve us and protect our best interests. Bob has proven that he can work well with others by his track record. He is an officer in numerous volunteer agencies which is no easy undertaking. His longevity and continued service in the organizations he serves exemplifies his ongoing commitment and ability to govern in these associations for the greater good. I fully believe that he is the best choice for District 9. He has shown his nonpartisan beliefs in focusing on issues that affect people across party lines and vow to work with the bipartisan coalition of legislators. His dedication in protecting us against the adverse effects of the poorly planned closure of Indian Point on local taxpayers and his fight against the opioid epidemic ravaging our communities, to both the young and old, are of great importance. He will be a champion for issues of mental health, domestic violence, our seniors and our veterans. Most importantly Bob is dedicated to make Westchester County a safe and affordable place to live so our children and parents can afford to live here.
