The warrant for Nelson Quinones, 29, was issued after he failed to show up in court for a hearing on a disorderly conduct charge that occurred on Dec. 19, 2013, in Yorktown. After receiving information that Quinones was being held at Riker's, Yorktown sent two officers to pick him up.

Quinones was charged with disorderly conduct and failure to respond, and processed at the Yorktown Police Department. He was released on his own recognizance and then placed in the custody of the Carmel Police Department for an outstanding bench warrant in its jurisdiction.
