Two Charged After Lake Peekskill Robbery

LAKE PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Two men were arrested Saturday in the robbery of a laptop, iPad and tools from a motor vehicle in Lake Peekskill, according to New York State Police.

Eric Miller, 27, of Putnam Valley, New York, and Michael Federici, 27, of Yorktown, New York, were charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a felony.

An investigation by state police determined that the two men were responsible for the theft. The majority of the property was recovered from Miller's residence in Lake Peekskill.

The defendants were remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond, and are due to return to the Putnam Valley Court Sept. 10.
