Threatening Ex-Boyfriend, Fraudulent Checks Top Mount Kisco Police Blotter

Westchester County Police detectives have launched an investigation following reports from a Mount Kisco woman complaining that her ex-boyfriend was making threatening calls to her.

The West Street resident reported to county police that she had been receiving numerous threatening phone calls and text messages from her ex-boyfriend shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9.

After making a report for the record, the matter was turned over the Westchester County Police detectives for further investigation.

Other items on the Mount Kisco Police Department blotter from Monday, Feb. 5 through Friday, Feb. 9 include:

  • On Tuesday, Feb. 6, a North Bedford Road business reported to police that several attempts have been made to cash fraudulent payroll checks in the company’s name. The case is being investigated by detectives.
  • The following day, police were dispatched to a Grove Street residence, where there was a verbal dispute between two roommates. Police said that one of the roommates had an ongoing problem with the other because he plays music too loudly. The dispute was only verbal in nature and no further police intervention was required.
