Suspect At Large In Mohegan Lake Stolen Check Incident

MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- New York State police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman wanted on numerous charges including trying to cash a stolen check at the M&T Bank in Mohegan Lake.

On Aug. 29, the suspect, driving a black Hyundai Santa Fe with New Jersey plates, that were also stolen from Linden, N.J., attempted to cash the check that was reported stolen Aug. 25 from a car in Wayne, Pa.

The New York State driver's license that the suspect tried to use was reported stolen from a vehicle in Newburgh on May 4, state police said.
