State Police Issue 145 Tickets In Peekskill, Greenburgh

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- At least 145 drivers received tickets on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh and Route 9 in Peekskill after recent speed checks, state police said.

Troopers from the Cortlandt and Hawthorne Barracks issued 145 tickets to drivers for speeding, seat-belt and other traffic violations, according to state police.

"The New York State Police will continue these types of enforcement details in an effort to keep the highways safe for the motoring public," representatives said in a release.
