The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Friday to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 29-year-old Andrew Zambrano, who has moved into an apartment on Highland Avenue in Peekskill.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Zambrano as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Zambrano sexually abused his victim and had sexual contact with her in September 2013. He was arrested by the Poughkeepsie Town Police Department and sentenced to 90 days in local jail in April last year. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Peekskill City Police Department.
