Registered Sex Offender Reports Poughkeepsie Move

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A registered sex offender accused of having sex with an 11-year-old girl on Long Island has changed addresses in Poughkeepsie.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Wednesday to Dutchess County residents regarding the residency of 53-year-old Joe Doyle, who has moved into an apartment on Noxon Street in Poughkeepsie.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Doyle as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Doyle had sexual intercourse with his 11-year-old victim in Nassau County in 1995. He was arrested by the Nassau County Police Department Missing Person and Sex Offender Registry Unit. He was sentenced to five years probation.
