Peekskill Woman Accused Of Stealing From Macy's In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N. Y. -- A 21-year-old Peekskill woman is facing a larceny charge after police investigated a shoplifting report at Macy's in Yorktown Saturday night.

Franceskina Shllaku of Rolling Way was charged with misdemeanor petit larceny. She is free on bail and due back in Yorktown Justice Court on April 7, police said.

Yorktown police were called to the store at around 7:38 p.m. Saturday on a report of a shoplifter in custody, police said. Police said she took $567.53 worth of clothing without paying for it.
