Peekskill Police Make Drug Arrest

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Peekskill Police arrested a local man on charges stemming from a long-term narcotics investigation conducted jointly between the City of Peekskill Police Narcotics Unit and the Westchester County Police Department Narcotics Unit recently, according to police officials.

Chauncey Richardson, 56, was arraigned in Cortlandt town court because the charges originate from that jurisdiction. Richardson was charged with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, Peekskill Police said.

Richardson will be back in Cortlandt Town Court on Monday, Nov. 18, according to Peekskill Police.
