Peekskill Man Charged With Violating Order Of Protection In Yorktown

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- A Peekskill man is facing charges after, police said, he twice violated an order of protection.

Anthony J. Waterhouse, 26, was arrested on Thursday in Peekskill and turned over to Yorktown authorities, police said.

He was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, after he allegedly contacted a Yorktown resident who had an order of protection against him on Wednesday, March 16, and again on Friday, March 18, police said.

Waterhouse was sent to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail and is to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, April 5, police said.
