PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- A suspect is on the loose following a robbery early Friday afternoon at the M&T Bank on Park Street in downtown Peekskill.
The robbery occurred around 12:30 p.m. at 1019 Park Street, formerly Hudson City Saving Bank, which was acquired by M&T Bank.
Based on video surveillance, the suspect is described as being Hispanic and between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 and around 180 pounds.
The robbery drew a quick response from city, county and state police and included K-9 units.
It is unclear how much money the robber came away with and whether or not he was armed.
