Man Violates Order Of Protection In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged Monday with violating an order of protection, Yorktown Police said.

James S. Franco of Greenwich, Conn., was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

Police received a call of a past harassment at a Yorktown residence and discovered unrelated to the complaint there was a Yorktown Justice Court Order of Protection will a full stay away, police said. Franco was arrested and transported back for processing.

Franco was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on July 20.
