Peekskill Man Charged After Second Sears Shoplift Attempt In Week

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – A Peekskill man was arrested on two counts of larceny Monday after attempting to shoplift at the Sears store in Yorktown for the second time in less than a week.

67-year old Oscar Jackson was arrested on charges of petit larceny and fourth-degree grand larceny on Monday, as he attempted to leave Sears without paying for items.

Security also identified Jackson as the man who allegedly left the store on Aug. 20 with over $1,000 of items without paying.

Jackson was remanded to Westchester County Jail, with an appearance date in court on Sep. 10.
