Man Charged After Investigation Of Armed Robbery At Area Gas Station

A lengthy investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station in Dutchess County about three months ago.

The City of Beacon Police arrested Eric R. Johnson of Half Moon Road in Beacon on Friday, May 18 after investigating the armed robbery that occurred in February at the Citgo Gas Station located at 425 Fishkill Ave. in Beacon.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Town of Fishkill Police were also involved in the investigation.

Johnson was processed and arraigned in Beacon City Court where he was remanded to Dutchess County Jail on $15,000 cash/$50,000 bond.
