LaGrange, Beacon Men Charged In Stabbing During Drug Deal, Police Say

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. --  Two men from LaGrange and Beacon stabbed and robbed another man during a drug deal in the City of Poughkeepsie on Monday, police said.

Damon Luttrell, 17, of Beacon, and Liam Gannon, 20, of LaGrange, were charged with felony robbery, after luring a man to 534 Main St., with the intent to rob him, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark.

The 21-year-old man, who was meeting the pair to buy marijuana, was jumped, stabbed in the back by one of the men and robbed when he met up with the two, said Clark.

The victim was taken to Vassar Brothers Medical Center with serious internal injuries that required surgery, he added.

Luttrell and Gannon are being held at the Dutchess County Jail.
