In December last year, New York State Police troopers launched an investigation into the possible theft of money from a Hyde Park construction company, which led them to Dennis Morgan, 52, who allegedly used company credit cards to purchase more than $11,000 worth of merchandise from Home Depot and Staples in Poughkeepsie.

Morgan was arrested on Monday and charged with grand larceny. Following arraignment, Morgan was released on his own recognizance. He is due back in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court on March 21 to answer the charge.
