Drug Arrest Ends Yearlong Peekskill Investigation

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The evening of July 23 ended a yearlong pursuit of a suspect accused of selling cocaine to an undercover agent in Peekskill, police said. 

Peekskill Police arrested 21-year-old Jesse Dabbs in connection with a yearlong crack- cocaine investigation.

Peekskill Detectives Anthony Malfitano and Joseph McGann arrested 21-year-old Jesse Dabbs, Jr. at a home on Main Street in Peekskill around 6 p.m., July 23. The detectives took Dabbs into custody without incident, police said. 

Dabbs was later charged with felony third-degree criminal sales of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, according to Peekskill Police. 

Dabbs was held at the Peekskill Police Station for arraignment.
