Yorktown officers took Alyssa Anna Rodriguez of 25 Scenic Drive West, Croton, into custody early on Thanksgiving morning after she was turned over to the department by authorities in Peekskill, according to the Yorktown Police Department.

Rodriguez had an open bench warrant for her arrest in Yorktown that had previously been issued after she failed to answer to the misdemeanor petty larceny charge, Yorktown police said.

Rodriguez was later arraigned in Yorktown Court, where she was additionally charged with third-degree bail jumping, also a misdemeanor, police said, adding that the 25-year-old was then taken to the Westchester County jail and held on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond.

According to authorities, Rodriguez is to appear in Yorktown Town Court at 6 p.m. Thursday to answer to both misdemeanor charges.
