County Cop Charged With DWI After Taconic Crash

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A Westchester County police sergeant was arrested and charged with DWI on Tuesday after police responded to a car accident on the Taconic State Parkway, according to LoHud.com.

According to the New York State Police, Mario Guiliano, 46, of White Plains, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet at around 8:30 p.m. when his vehicle struck the rear of a Department of Transportation vehicle in a construction zone.

Guiliano is a Westchester County police sergeant and 23-year police veteran who was off-duty at the time of the accident, LoHud.com reported. Guiliano was issued traffic tickets and ordered to return to the Town of Mount Pleasant court on Oct. 16.
