FISHKILL, N.Y. – Thomas C. Chefalo, a resident of Fishkill, died Tuesday, Jan. 19. He was 84.
He was born in Peekskill on Nov. 8, 1931, to Charles and Carmela (Arpaio) Chefalo.
He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve as a radioman. He was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. He worked for IBM in Tarrytown for 32 years, and retired as a systems analyst in 1986.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, along with his son, James Chefalo and his wife, Grace of Fishkill; his son, Michael Chefalo and his wife, Heather of Cold Spring; his son, Thomas Chefalo of Newburgh; his daughter, Maria Cofini and her husband, Paul of Cold Spring; his daughter, Angela Williams and her husband, Westin of San Diego, Calif.; his grandchildren, Neoma, Evan, Marley, Michael, Mario, Carlo, Carmela, Blake, and Kaelie; his great-grandchildren, Evan, Eliyah, and Azariah; his sister, Virginia Nohai; and his brother, Joseph Chefalo and his wife, Sharon.
He was predeceased by his sister, Tina Tina Mastranunzio as well as two brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 24, at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main St., Fishkill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson St., Fishkill.
