Beuchert was born Feb. 11, 1928, in New Milford, Conn., to Claus and Emma (nee Hellberg) Anderson. She became a registered nurse in 1949, she served in the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corp; she worked at the Peekskill Community Hospital and in 1962 became director of nursing, then became associate administrator until she retired in Nov. 1987.
Beuchert is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Stan) Cutts and Karen (Louis) Cortese; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Fred J. Beuchert.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18. Interment will be private in the New Milford Center Cemetery, New Milford, Conn.
