CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – Grace Gallagher of Cortlandt Manor died Tuesday, Oct. 9. She was 73.
Gallagher worked for Standard Brands in Peekskill and later for Town Casual Clothing at the Westchester Mall for 10 years.
She was born Dec. 15, 1938, in Peekskill to Joseph and Carmela Annicone Marino. She graduated from Peekskill High School. On April 11, 1958, she married William J. Gallagher at Assumption Church in Peekskill.
In addition to her husband, survivors are two children, William J. (Patty) Gallagher Jr., of Ossining, and Terri (Daniel) Turner, of Putnam Valley, N.Y.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Assumption Church. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
