Funeral Will Be Held For Ossining Crash Victim Bastian Pasten, 20

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Bastian Pasten, a 20-year-old Ossining High School graduate who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Route 117 in Mount Pleasant this week, will be laid to rest Tuesday, Aug. 30.

A wake will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Star of Bethlehem Church at 304 Spring St. in Ossining, with the funeral starting at 11 a.m. Pasten will be buried at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.

Pasten died of injuries from a crash on Route 117 in Mount Pleasant on Tuesday. A popular wrestler at Ossining High School, he was described as charming and well-liked by friends.

More than 250 friends and classmates gathered at the Arcadian Shopping Center Wednesday to pay tribute.

"Bastian was a great kid full of life and he went too soon," Bastian's sister, Nicolle Cardenas said. "Our family appreciates all the love and support we've received. We will miss him terribly and this heartache will never go away."

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.
