YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Francis J. Cassidy of Yorktown Heights died on Thursday, Nov. 24. He was 75.

Frank worked as a Realtor for Coldwell Banker in Yorktown Heights. He was an associate member of the FOP Steven P. Driscoll Lodge, past President of the Irish American Social Club of Northern Westchester /Putnam county, Person of the Year for the Club, Drum Major for the Yorktown Irish pipes and drums, a former Grand Marshall of the Mahopac St. Patrick’s Day parade, member of the Mahopac St. Patrick’s Day parade committee, former member of the Yorktown Lions Club, and an active volunteer with Friends of Karen and American Cancer Society.

Frank was born on July 22, 1941, in Manhattan to the late Frank and Alice (Connolly) Cassidy. He graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, and attended Lewis University in Illinois on a baseball scholarship where he received his Bachelor’s degree. He served in the Army National Guard from 1964 to 1970.

On Nov. 13, 1965, he married the love of his life, Andria (Leger) at Church of the Visitation in the Bronx.

Frank is survived by his wife, Andria, two daughters, Alicia and her husband Sean Noonan, of Dover Plains, Jessica and her husband Brian Rohan, of New York, and one son, Sean and his wife Beth (Wiltse) of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Emma and Declan Noonan, Aidan and Caitlyn Cassidy, Terence and Bernard Rohan, as well as his beloved sisters-in- law and brother-in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is predeceased by both his brother John, and John’s wife Mary.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28 and Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Clark Funeral Home, 2104 Saw Mill River Road, Yorktown Heights.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 10 a.m. at New St. Patrick’s Church in Yorktown Heights. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Yonkers.
