NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - Frances S. Spangenberger Cacace, of New Port Richey and formerly of Peekskill, N.Y., died Tuesday March 5. She was 90.
Cacace was born Jan. 3, 1923, in Peekskill to George and Anna Moraitis. After attending Peekskill Schools, she worked during WWII as a riveter for Eastern Aircraft. After the war she worked for the old Hat Factory, and also for the Peekskill School System and Mars Nursing Home before retiring to Florida in 1983.
Cacace is survived by sons, Carl, Gary and Gregory Cacace; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Louis Moraitis; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Carlo; second husband, Albert; five brothers and four sisters.
