PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Florence M. Mowbray, a longtime Peekskill resident, died Oct. 14. She was 98.
Mowbray worked at Standard Brands in Peekskill for 33 years, until she retired in 1980.
Mowbray is survived by her son, James (Dolores) Mowbray of Putnam Valley; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George Mowbray.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, followed by interment in the Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
