Clifford Chase, 88, Longtime Peekskill Resident

PEEKSKILL/CORTLANDT, N.Y. - Clifford Chase, a lifelong Peekskill/Cortlandt resident, died Dec. 8. He was 88.

Chase served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. He worked as a car-man for Metro-North Railroad in Croton for 39 years.

Chase is survived by his wife, Priscilla; son, Clifford J. Chase; daughters, Deborah Berry, Dawn Waters, Priscilla J. Hunt, Toni Pease; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill. A Funeral Service will be offered at 11a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 at the Van Cortlandtville Community Church, Locust Avenue, Cortlandt Manor, followed by interment in the Hillside Cemetery.
