Christopher Guido Of Hyde Park Dies At 37

Christopher Michael Guido, a lifelong area resident, died unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 13 at his home in Hyde Park. He was 37.

Born on July 7, 1980 in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of Gary and Ellen (Beyer) Guido.

A graduate of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, Chris worked at the Anderson Center for Autism in Staatsburg.

He enjoyed fishing, and was passionate about music and playing his guitar. Chris was a “family man."

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Audrey Anna Guido and Vivian Caprice Guido; sister, LeeAnna Guido, and her fiancé, Eric Curran, of Pleasant Valley; sister, Katherine Guido, and her companion, Austin Pullman, of Hyde Park; maternal grandmother, Florence Beyer, of Hyde Park; niece, Annaliese Pullman; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Christopher was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Frederick Beyer; his paternal grandparents, Richard and Fran Guido; and his uncle, Michael J. Beyer.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov.16 at Sweet’s Funeral Home on Route 9 in Hyde Park.

A funeral service will be at 6 p.m. during the calling hours. Fr. Patrick Curley will be officiating.
