PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Catherine Cozzi, a lifelong Peekskill resident, died Monday, Oct. 6. She was 96.
Cozzi was born June 19, 1918, in Peekskill, to John and Angelina Ceconi Bosick. She was a former member of the Christopher Columbus Society Ladies Auxiliary.
Cozzi is survived by her daughters, Joan (Edward) Zegarelli of the Finger Lakes Region, Linda Cozzi of Briarcliff Manor and Doreen (Wayne) Busse of Peekskill; siblings, John and Dolores Dimichele; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Umberto Cozzi; sister, Mary Marro; and brother, Fred Dimichele.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 at Assumption Church, followed by Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
