CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – Adeline M. Mongero of Cortlandt Manor died June 20. She was 85.
Born March 1, 1927, in Peekskill, she was the daughter of Vincent and Frances Cervone Colucci. Mongero was a member of the Cortlandt Garden Club and a former crossing guard for the Peekskill City School District.
She is survived by two sons, Michael J. Mongero, of Yorktown Heights, and John J. Mongero, of Carmel, N.Y.; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, at Church of the Holy Spirit in Cortlandt Manor. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, N.Y.
