Two Separate Felony Drug Arrests in Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Two men were arrested by city police on felony drug charges this week in separate incidents.

Javon Dennis, 18, of Peekskill was arrested on Dec. 14 at 11 p.m. and charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony, on the 500 block of Highland Avenue by Police Officer Joe McGann.

Dennis was charged following a three-month investigation conducted jointly between Peekskill Police and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. Dennis was charged after selling crack cocaine to an undercover police officer on several occasions. He was held for arraignment in city court.

Jerald Jenkins, 22, of Yonkers, was arrested on Dec. 15 at 11:25 a.m. and charged with at third-degree burglary, a class D felony on Railroad Avenue by Police Detective Ralph D’Aliso. Jenkins was charged with a Sept. 1, burglary that occurred at Dale’s Deli on Railroad Ave. following an investigation by Det. Ralph D’Aliso. Jenkins was identified as a suspect after D’Aliso lifted a fingerprint from the crime scene, which was later identified as belonging to Jenkins. Jenkins was held for arraignment in city court.

Other arrests reported by Peekskill Police for the week: Michael Tesoriero 41, of Cortlandt, was arrested on Dec. 13 at 3:35 a.m. and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, on Hadden Street by Police Officer Brandon Kruithof.

Tesoriero was charged after being found in possession of a small quantity of cocaine, marijuana, and the prescription drug Percocet following a traffic stop. He was held for arraignment in city court.

Also on Dec. 13, Luke Demarchis, 24, of Montrose, Mathew Hickey, 23, of Verplanck and Mathew Feeley, 22, of Verplanck were arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor, on Hudson Ave. by Police Officer Fabian Gonzalez.

The three men were charged with possession of heroin and a hypodermic needle following a traffic stop after Demarchis failed to stop at a stop sign while driving on Hudson Avenue. All three were held for arraignment in city court.
