WESTCHESTER COUNTY N.Y. – Health Quest has announced both Northern Dutchess Hospital and Vassar Brothers Medical Center have been named Top Performers on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in America.
Northern Dutchess Hospital was recognized by the commission for exemplary performance in using evidence-based clinical processes for its surgical care improvement project and pneumonia, and Vassar Brothers Medical Center for the following measure sets: heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care. Northern Dutchess Hospital and Vassar Brothers Medical Center are two of only 1,099 hospitals in the United States earning the distinction for attaining and sustaining excellence in accountability measure performance.
