Too Much Texting, Screen Time Comes At Cost For Kids, Experts Say

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A study finds that the average teenager spends 11 hours a day exposed to a variety of media according to NBC News.

This includes half of all teens sending 50 text messages a day and 3,300 texts a month .

Psychologists are warning that these behaviors cause concentration, sleep and critical face time to suffer, NBC News reported.
