The city received proposals from three parties interested in leasing, operating, and managing the venue, and according to members of the Paramount Proposal Review Committee, composed of elected officials, business leaders, and community members, all three groups provided unique and interesting approaches to how they would run it.

The three bidders are The Paramount Phoenix Group, Red House Entertainment and the Tarrytown Music Hall.

"The Review Committee has vetted the proposals and recommends that the city can move forward. We will not need to solicit additional groups," says Bob Knight, the city’s spokesman.

The three bidders will be invited to make presentations at a Common Council Work session on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. The session is open to the public.

"The mayor and council are pleased with the progress and look forward to the Paramount springing back into action," Knight said.
