YORKTOWN, N.Y. – The southbound Taconic State Parkway will see lane closures between Underhill Avenue and Routes 100/133 beginning Wednesday and continuing through Friday, Oct. 26, for paving and striping work in Yorktown, the state Department of Transportation said.

The work will occur between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays. One lane will be closed from 9 to 10:30 a.m., and two lanes will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The DOT asks drivers to use caution in the construction area. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of a driver’s license, the DOT said.
