Schoolhouse Theater In Croton Falls Makes Casting Call

CROTON FALLS, N.Y. -- The Schoolhouse Theater in Croton Falls is having a non-equity casting call for "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Feb. 14-15.

The open casting call is for the following characters:

Janice: Female, age 16+ (must look 14-18) Tillie's rival at the science fair. Audtions will be held on Feb. 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Nanny: Female, age 60+. An elderly woman with dementia; non-speaking role. Auditions are scheduled for Feb. 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Auditions are by appointment only for non-equity actors. Callbacks could be held on Feb. 15.

Actors should prepare a short monologue (less than one minute long) or read from sides provided.

Rehearsals are scheduled for Feb. 16-27 either in Croton Falls or in New York City. Train fare will be provided if needed.
