Poughkeepsie Street Will Close For Paving Project

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Attention drivers! Poughkeepsie will be closing a city street for paving.

DeGarmo Place will be paved on Thursday, Sept. 28, starting at 7 a.m. The road is located between Hooker Avenue and South Cherry Street in Poughkeepsie.

The paving project will take place on DeGarmo Place, which is located between Hooker Avenue and South Cherry Street.

It starts at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29.

Work zones will be in place and emergency vehicles will be accommodated, the city said.
