The Peekskill Police have released the names of the 22 individuals arrested in yesterday’s multi-agency drug raid. The raids were conducted at approximately 9 a.m. throughout the city. Peekskill Police Chief Eugene Tumolo said at a noon press conference at police headquarters that about 31 people were targeted and indicted in the operation and further arrests are likely in the coming days. A similar raid was conducted with Westchester County Department of Public Safety Tuesday evening that also yielded arrests.
The drug arrests were part of a year-long joint investigation between the city and State Police and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. Those arrested remain unnamed until the indictment is unsealed. Criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance were the most common charges listed, said Peekskill Police Lt. Eric Johansen.
The following individuals were arrested on June 21 following a drug raided at 404 South Street conducted by the City of Peekskill’s Tactical Response Unit: Arnold Archibald, 22, of the Bronx, was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and resisting arrest after he fled the apartment and was apprehended after a brief foot chase. Natalie Tirado, 22, of the Bronx was arrested and charged with one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance when she fled the apartment upon the entry of police and broke into a second apartment in an attempt to escape. She was found in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine. Michael Phelps, 58, of Peekskill was arrested and charged with – one count of third-degree criminal sale of s controlled substance and one count of criminal nuisance.
The raid kicked off a multi-jurisdictional drug sweep in the City of Peekskill which resulted in the arrest of the following individuals on June 22, who were each charged with a varying number of counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: One Count: Gary Zahn, 26, of Peekskill; John Blasetti, 35, Buchanan; Calvin Diggs Jr., 45, of Peekskill; Brian Jacobs, 40, of Peekskill; Two Counts: Artis Smythe, 23, of Peekskill; Michael Holliman, 23, of Peekskill; Olajuwon Dancy, 24, of Ossining; Kenneth Medina, 27, of Putnam Valley; Perry Freeman, 25, of Peekskill Carl Culberson, 37, of Peekskill; Eric Bolton, 21, of Peekskill; Clarence Bolton, 36, of Peekskill Macavery Berger, 24, of Peekskill; Danna Piamonte, 18 of Cortlandt Manor; Daniel Piamonte, 56, of Cortlandt Manor; Dominique Hollberg, 21, of Peekskill Kaliek Ford-Goode, 21, of Newburgh Three Counts: Raymond DeOliviera, 69, of Peekskill The investigation is ongoing as several suspects who remain at large are actively being pursued.
