Peekskill To Host Swarm Of Cyclists Sunday Morning

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – City officials are asking residents to be mindful of cyclists Sunday morning, when hundreds are set to pass through the city.

The Westchester Cycle Club will have its annual cycling tour, the Golden Apple, throughout the morning and afternoon throughout much of the county.

For the first time in Golden Apple's history, Peekskill will serve as a rest and food stop for the 45-, 75- and 100-mile bike routes. The food stop will be at the gazebo in Depew Park from 8 a.m. until noon.

No road closings have been announced in the city.
