The move, which released last year, is told through songs and based on true events in the Hudson Valley. Two men, both named Hamilton Fish, could not have been more disparate. One was a statesman, and the other was a serial killer. The Peekskill Evening Star newspaper announced the death of both men on Jan. 16, 1936.

Most of the film was shot in Garrison, according to the film's website. Some scenes were also filmed at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining. The film was created by Rachel Mason, who also sings in the film.
