WESTCHESTER, N.Y. – The African-American Chamber of Commerce of Westchester and Rockland introduced a new smartphone app on Thursday that’s aimed at helping consumers find black-owned businesses in their area.
The app, called Around the Way, works with a phone’s GPS technology and highlights the desired route to the nearby black-owned business, a press release said.
Around the Way was reportedly being rolled out Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the New York Power Authority Building in White Plains.
