Police say a call was received from an employee at the Courtesy Shell Station reporting that two males entered the station and removed the cases of beer without paying. An officer was assigned to investigate, and upon completing an investigation, he identified Mena as one of the parties, police said.
Mena surrendered at Yorktown police headquarters on Wednesday and was arrested, police said. He was processed and released on his own recognizance to a family member, police said. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 6 p.m. for arraignment.
