The New York State Department of Transportation reported the barriers on the bridge near Royal Carting are expected to be removed on Friday, Dec. 2.
This week's rain prevented the striping of yellow and white lines, which were expected to be completed Thursday.
The project - and road closure - has been a headache for local business and area residents for the last seven months while the temporary bridge was replaced with a permanent structure.
The DOT reported late Thursday: "We hope to see the roadway reopened by the end of the day tomorrow (12/2), and look forward to getting back to normal traffic flow in the area."
