The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Chappaqua Library theater, 195 S. Greeley Ave., Chappaqua.

Candidates for the following races have been invited:

U.S. Congress, District 17:

  • Chris Day
  • Nita Lowey

State Senate District 40:

  • Terrence P. Murphy
  • Justin Wagner

State Assembly District 93:

  • David Buchwald  is running unopposed and will appear.

Supreme Court Justices, 9th Judicial District:

  • Montgomery J. Delaney
  • James Hubert

There will be a short presentation on redistricting. There is a very important constitutional amendment on this fall’s ballot. It is a rare opportunity to fix New York state’s redistricting system. Redistricting is the process of drawing boundaries to create new electoral districts.

This proposition aims to curb the power of state legislators to draw their own district lines.

The league will provide coffee and snacks.
