MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- The First Family jetted into Westchester and stayed throughout the evening Saturday for the wedding of their personal chef, Sam Kass, at the Blue Hill in Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills.

Barack Obama, the 44nd President of the United States, accompanied by his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha, touched down at Westchester County Airport in White Plains for the second time in the span of 28 hours on Saturday at around 6 p.m.

Kass married MSNBC talk show host Alex Wagner.

About eight people waited across the street at Historic Hudson Valley to catch a glimpse of the presidential motorcade.

Jackie Buonocore, a New Rochelle resident, wanted to see the president's motorcade after she missed Obama when he came through New Rochelle on Friday for the first of two fundraisers.

"This is the closest I'll get to be," Buonocore said. "It's so impressive seeing the motorcade."

Buonocore remembers seeing Richard Nixon come to New Rochelle when he was vice president and also meeting Robert Kennedy when he was running for president.

"It was amazing," Buonocore said.

Sherry Birnbaum, a Pocantico Hills resident, also was on hand to catch a glimpse of the motorcade.

"It's very exciting," Birnbaum said.

Lyle Lieberman said it was an honor to have the president come through his area.

"I want to say thanks for doing the best job possible given this worthless Congress," Lieberman said.

Route 448 was re-opened after the president arrived at Blue Hill.

The Obamas flew back to the White House from Westchester Airport immediately after attending the wedding and reception Saturday night, at approximately 1:30 a.m.
