Delays Reported On Wet Westchester Roadways, Hutch Reopens After Accident

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- It's was a slow go for commuters Friday morning as rain and showers fell in Westchester.

The southbound Hutchinson River Parkway has reopened in Scarsdale after a 5:10 a.m. accident in which a tractor-trailer hit the Mamaroneck Road Bridge, resulting in its closure. The tractor-trailer and debris have been moved to the ramp. There were still heavy delays farther north and the exit ramp at Weaver Street is closed.

There were delays on the southbound New York State Thruway in Yonkers.

Delays were also reported on the southbound Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers.
