Oregon Corners in Putnam Valley has plagued drivers for years.

"Those making a left hand turn off of Oscawana Lake Road as they approach the stoplight are in real danger of getting t-boned by traffic crossing the Silleck Bridge," Sam Oliverio said.

Oliverio also singled out the intersection at Oscawana Lake Road and Church Road since it has too many blind areas.

Other dangerous intersections include Route 312 and Route 22 in Brewster and Route 6 and John Simpson Road in Carmel

"Drivers are always looking to dodge those lights and they often speed," Joanne Colangelo said.

Colangelo said the left turn from East Lake Boulevard in Mahopac onto Route 6 is also dangerous because there is no traffic light, only a stop sign.

Lisa Kaslyn said the intersection at Noonan Drive and Towners Road in Carmel can be tricky.

"There’s a stop sign in an awkward place where those two roads converge into one and it’s hard to see on coming traffic until the very last second," Kaslyn said.
