Crane Work At Peekskill MTA Station To Disrupt Traffic Wednesday

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - On Wednesday morning, Metro-North will be bringing in a crane to install a temporary stairway on the in-bound platform of the Peekskill train station.

The use of the crane will occur during off-peak hours, starting at about 10 a.m. and finishing at about 2 p.m., according to the city's director of planning, Anthony Ruggiero. Taxi drop-off locations during the use of the crane will be relocated, and a MTA and city staff will be on hand to assist in traffic direction.
