The town spent $2.5 million on road repairs in 2014 out of an account balance of $3 million. Town officials say the ability to complete projects without any outside funding is what keeps the municipality's debt relatively low.

Paving and resurfacing projects began in September and are expected to be completed by early November at the latest.
